It’s the best the season to taste wine and feel warm, and discover the Lebanese vineyards of the Bekaa valley!
Join Adventures in Lebanon us on Sunday December 6th 2009 to visit a selection of best wineries and distilleries in the Bekaa region, where the Romans chose to build one of the biggest jewels of Lebanon - The Temple of Bacchus - holding within its walls the hymn of love and the mystery and secrets of wine.
Our Journey will start at domain of “KSARA” where we will visit their authentic cellars, and then move to learn the techniques of wine production and taste Ksara's best selections.
Our second stop will be at Clos St. Thomas in Ab Elias, one of the most refined wineries known for their primary quality of fine wine, and winners of several Gold awards.
We will be coached by the owner himself on wine production and preserving techniques and will be visiting their cellars, before we conclude our visit with exquisite wine tasting.
We will then continue towards Kefraya region to visit “Cave Kouroum” vineyards, a private ultra modern winery similar to a cathedral, overlooking the Bekaa valley to taste their best selections of wine and visit their cellars. Cave Kouroum are also awarded with several gold and silver awards worldwide.
Our final stop will be for lunch at “Chalet du Lac” in the Araon area (after Saghbine village), overlooking the splendid Araon lack, to enjoy a Lebanese supreme mezze and grills menu.
