10H30: Heading to Arnoun & Passing by the Statue of Hasan Kamel AlSabbah in Nabatieh, great opportunity to take pictures of the worldwide famed Lebanese research engineer, inventor and mathematician, a genius in electrical and electronics born in Nabatieh .
Arrival to the very imposing Crusader fortress, the Beaufort Castle in Arnoun village, also known as Shaqif Arnun or Qala'at al-Shaqif … this internationally renowned castle is the symbol of shifting power of Southern Lebanon. Ever since it existed generations of invaders made it a part of their arsenal.
Arrival to Jezzine, the most famous summer and touristic resort of South Lebanon!
Witness up-close the splendor of the Farid Serhal Palace, a monumental building in the oriental style where an impressive collection of valuable antiquities is found and inherited though generations
13H30 Lunch in a Lebanese restaurant nearby (optional)
14H45 Jezzine Easy tour on foot whilst admiring the beautiful landscapes
- Check out Mazar Al Maabour, a Lady Mariam Shrine that honors our lady of Jezzine & the waterfalls, standing on one of Jezzine’s many beautiful waterfalls.
- In front of Al Maabour, one can get a glimpse of the memorial stones of the Jewish prophets “Mikha” and “Misha”
- The Serail and the municipality hall, a visit to this ancient building that witnessed a big part of southern Lebanon history
- Enter into the maze of the Old Souk where are found the most traditional cultery and daggers shops. Amongst them the very well-known Habib Haddad Shop!
- Behold the ancient historical church of the Convent of St. Anthony; the convent’s church is 238 years old!
16h30 Head back to Dora
18h00 arrival depending on traffic.

Le Beaufort des Croisades au village de Arnoun, connu sous Shqif Arnun or Qala'at al-Shqif
Arrivée à Jezzine, village estival du Sud Liban.
Visite du magnifique palais de M. Farid Serhal, et sa fameuse collection d’antiquités et de précieux objets accumulés tout au long de générations
