Hiking Excursion to Al Kamouaa - April 20th 2008
“Kamouaa” is the most important forest of Lebanon. It lies from the “valley of Gehanam” to “Kobayat” and from “Fnaydek to the “Nassarahs of Koubayat” region. This forest has more than 10 million trees of fifty different species; the most important of these are the junipers, cedars, and Cilician firs.
On Sunday the 20th of April 2008, Blue Carrot Adventure Club is organizing a hiking trip to this magnificent part of Lebanon, the “Kamouaa Forest”.
The hike will be of an easy to intermediate level.
We will meet in the parking lot facing “Apotre” High School in Jounieh at 7:00 AM.
Participants are kindly reminded to be equipped with:
Hiking boots
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Hat
Jacket
